Our Services

Our dentists and staff understand that oral health is vital to optimal health and learning.  We bring a team that consists of a licensed dentist, a dental assistant, and a certified x-ray technician to the school or children’s facility on a scheduled date to provide comprehensive care such as:

Oral Exams:  The dentist checks for decayed, loose, broken or infected teeth and the proper eruption of permanent teeth.  He/She evaluates the health of the support structure and surrounding tissue of the teeth.  He/She may also evaluate for the possible need of orthodontic treatment (braces).

Cleanings:  Scheduled at six month intervals.

X-Rays:  Scheduled once a year to help diagnose and treat dental problems.

Fluoride:  Scheduled every six months to harden the surface of the teeth (enamel) against decay and to reduce sensitivity.

Sealants:  Placed in the deep grooves of newly erupted teeth to keep food and bacteria from getting stuck there.

Fillings:  We are able to fill any broken or decayed teeth on-site.  We use tooth colored fillings in areas that are visible to others.  We want only a healthy smile showing.

Extractions:  Only when absolutely necessary.  We are in the business of saving teeth.

Preventive and Education:  The dental team provides information on oral health and gives out toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, and special treats like pencils, stickers, and coloring books.
